Bruce County, Ontario: Phase 2 of the Durham Street bridge rehabilitation project will resume on Monday, March 9, 2026. Initially, motorists can expect intermittent lane closures on the bridge, with traffic control measures in place. Within the month, the bridge will transition to alternating traffic with a single-lane closure managed by temporary traffic lights and additional traffic control measures. The Municipality of Brockton is pleased to recognize the outstanding contributions and long-standing service of Deputy Chief Glen Wilhelm of the Walkerton Fire Department, who will be retiring from his role as Deputy Chief effective July 1, 2026.
