Service Disruption: Walkerton Parks and Ball Diamonds Closed Due to Flooding
Centennial Park, Lobies Park, and the Walkerton Kinsmen Tot Lot Park, and Walkerton Ball Diamonds are all closed due to flooding. Low lying areas of trails may also be flooded out due to high water levels along the Saugeen River and Silver Creek and ongoing rainfall. Please avoid these areas as they pose a safety risk.

Municipal Offices Holiday Closures and Public Skating Over Holidays
The Municipal Office and Brockton Child Care Centre will be closed for the holidays at 1:00 p.m. on December 24, 2025 until January 1, 2026. The Community Services (Parks and Recreation) Administration Office will be closed at 1:00 p.m. on December 24, 2025, and again on December 25th, December 26th, December 31st and January 1, 2026.
