Service Disruption: Watermain Repair at Robinson & South Streets, Walkerton
The Municipality of Brockton and Veolia Water will be repairing a watermain break at Robinson and South Streets in Walkerton on July 15, 2026 between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The following areas may be impacted by a temporary water disruption: Robinson St. from South St. to Prince St. and South St. east of McNab St. We thank you for your patience and understanding as this infrastructure is repaired.

Bruce County Progress Update for Durham Street Bridge Walkerton
As of July 9, 2026, Phase 2 of the Durham Street Bridge Rehabilitation continues in Walkerton. From 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, there will be alternating, single-lane traffic with traffic control in place. From 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., the bridge will have both lanes open for two-way traffic. Bruce County anticipates completion of bridge surface work by the end of July 2026. Work beneath the bridge for pier rehabilitation will continue through August. Read the News Post or visit Bruce County's website for more information.
