Council Meeting Highlights - September 8, 2026
- Information on a possible Pedestrian Priority Area at Scott Street, Walkerton was provided to Council.
- Council received information on Brockton’s 2026 Annual Repayment Limit on long-term debt and long-term borrowing capacities.
- The 2027 Fees and Charges were approved.
- An updated 2027 Budget and Council Meeting Schedule was approved.
- The 2026 Bruce County International Plowing Match & Rural Expo was declared a Municipally Significant Event.

- The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.
- One Council Meeting will be held in the month of October on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
