Municipality of Brockton Recognizes Volunteers and Presents Awards at 2026 Event
The Municipality of Brockton is fortunate to have so many dedicated individuals who generously donate their time and talents. Brockton prides itself on our caring and welcoming nature, which is embodied by all of our volunteers. The Municipality hosted our Volunteer Recognition Event on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the Walkerton Community Centre to celebrate our Committees, Local Boards, and Service Clubs who are a valuable asset to the Municipality. Reminder - Bruce County Notice: Full Closure Durham Street Bridge Walkerton - June 11, 2026
Please take notice that there will be a full bridge closure on Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton beginning at 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026. and reopening at approximately 4 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026. Signage will be in place to support detouring during the closure and as alternative routes following the closure as work continues. Read the News Post for more information.
