Service Disruption Update: Ridout St Watermain Break Resolved
The watermain break on Ridout Street has been successfully repaired and water service has been restored to normal. Residents on the Walkerton Water System may now resume normal water use. Thank you for your cooperation and patience while crews worked to address the issue. There were no concerns with the safety or quality of the drinking water system as a result of this incident. We appreciate the efforts of our crews and the cooperation of residents during this time.

Service Disruption Update: Watermain Break in Areas of Ridout St, Thomas St, & Westwood Subdivision
Residents on the Walkerton Water System should continue to conserve water - limiting showers, lawn watering, dishwasher and washer use - until further notice. Crews continue to address the watermain break on Ridout Street, Walkerton. Residents may be experiencing low to no water pressures until crews have it fixed. There are currently no concerns with the safety or quality of the drinking water system. The water conservation request is to help maintain adequate water supply and pressure while crews complete the repairs. We appreciate your cooperation and will provide another update once more information is available.

Veolia staff are on site attending to the break. Walkerton residents are asked to conserve water at this time, until a further update is provided.
