A reminder that a vacancy exists on the Municipality of Brockton Council for one (1) Councillor. Council will fill this vacancy by appointment in accordance with the Council Vacancy Replacement Procedure Policy. The term of this position is from the date of Council appointment (mid-January 2026) until the swearing in of the next Council after the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election (November 14, 2026). Council is holding a Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton, ON N0G 2V0) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE. The purpose of this Special Council Meeting is to consider Public Meetings on the new Walkerton Community Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Review, and the Updated Community Improvement Plan. Following the Public Meetings, Council will then consider the 2026 Mayor's Budget.
