Winter Maintenance Activities Resumed on February 18, 2025
Municipal road crews have resumed winter maintenance activities. A reminder that the Municipality of Brockton remains under a significant weather event. Please be patient, as it will take longer than usual for plows to complete their routes while the roads remain in a state of repair. Motorists are advised not to travel on untreated roads.

Brockton Child Care Centre Operations February 18, 2025
Due to area road closures, please be advised that on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 the Brockton Child Care Centre will delay opening the Centre until 9:00 a.m. The Before School Program will be cancelled on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 due to the inclement weather.

Winter Operations Ceased Until Further Notice - February 17, 2025
Please be advised that as of 3:30 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 the Municipality of Brockton's Operations Department have ceased all winter maintenance operations until further notice due to the weather. All Brockton roads are to be considered closed.

Significant Weather Event Declared February 12, 2025
Due to the impending inclement weather expected, as of 12:00 p.m. today, the Municipality of Brockton has declared a Significant Weather Event in accordance with Ontario Regulation 366/18. All roads and sidewalks maintained by the Municipality will be in a "state of repair" until further notice. Read the News Post for more information.

In anticipation of worsening weather conditions across the region on Monday, January 27, 2025, Bruce County Transportation & Environmental Services is advising motorists to reconsider travel plans and to stay off the roadways if there is no need to travel. Read the News Post for more information.

Significant Weather Event Ended - January 27, 2025
As of 10:00 a.m. on January 27, 2025 the Municipality of Brockton has ended the Significant Weather Event. Caution should still be observed as regular maintenance activities are still occurring to return the roadway and sidewalk conditions to a state of repair.

As of 11:00 a.m. today, January 20, 2025, the Municipality of Brockton has declared a Significant Weather Event in accordance with Ontario Regulation 366/18.
