Bruce County will be fully closing the Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton beginning at 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026. It will reopen at approximately 4 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026. Signage will be in place to support detouring during the closure and as alternative routes following the closure as work continues.
The Municipality of Brockton encourages residents that are currently enrolled in Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) plans to contact the Municipality of Brockton by December 13, 2024 to obtain your PAP amounts for December 2024 and predicted 2025 PAP amounts. Due to the ongoing Canada Postal Strike, the Municipality will not be sending letters to residents to inform them of these PAP amounts. Read our News Post for more information.
