Due to the impending inclement weather expected, as of 12:00 p.m. today, the Municipality of Brockton has declared a Significant Weather Event in accordance with Ontario Regulation 366/18. All roads and sidewalks maintained by the Municipality will be in a "state of repair" until further notice. Read the News Post for more information.

The Brockton Child Care Centre is closed today, Tuesday, January 28, 2025 due to inclement weather. Stay warm and safe, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

In anticipation of worsening weather conditions across the region on Monday, January 27, 2025, Bruce County Transportation & Environmental Services is advising motorists to reconsider travel plans and to stay off the roadways if there is no need to travel. Read the News Post for more information.

As of 10:00 a.m. on January 27, 2025 the Municipality of Brockton has ended the Significant Weather Event. Caution should still be observed as regular maintenance activities are still occurring to return the roadway and sidewalk conditions to a state of repair.

As of 11:00 a.m. today, January 20, 2025, the Municipality of Brockton has declared a Significant Weather Event in accordance with Ontario Regulation 366/18. The Brant Landfill and the Greenock Transfer Station are both closed today, Saturday, January 4, 2025 due to the weather conditions. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Brant Landfill will be closed on December 25, 2024 and January 1, 2025. The Brant Landfill and Greenock Transfer Station will both remain open on December 28, 2024. 

The Municipal Office, Community Services (Parks and Recreation) Administration Office, and Brockton Child Care Centre will be closed at 1:00 p.m. on December 24, 2024 until January 1, 2025. All Offices reopen on January 2, 2025. Staff and Council wish you a happy holiday season!
