Council Meeting Highlights - October 13, 2026

• Updated Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) funding allocations were provided, along with the plan of how this additional funding will benefit the Brockton Child Care Centre.
• The results of the 2027 Budget Survey were provided to Council. Thank you to all residents who shared their feedback, it will be considered in the development of the 2027 Budget.
• Council received information on Brant Sideroad 15, and winter maintenance on Chepstow Road, with another report to come forward on possible opportunities to mitigate drifting snow on Chepstow Road.

Upcoming Meetings

• The November 3, 2026 Council Meeting was cancelled. The new 2026-2030 term of Council will be sworn in at the Inaugural Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.
• The next regular Council Meeting (last meeting of the year) will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
