Council Meeting Highlights - June 9, 2026
- A public education campaign about the Provincial prohibition of e-scooters will be developed.
- The Municipality is expanding the Brant gravel pit area to continue supporting transportation infrastructure and operational needs.
- The residential organics (green bin) program will begin in September. Registration information will be released this summer inviting Walkerton residents to voluntarily register to receive a green bin at no cost.
- The Municipality is applying for the Development Charges Reduction Program Grant for capital projects that will ensure future readiness for continued housing growth.
Upcoming Meetings
- The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. will be held at the Cargill Community Centre (999 Greenock-Brant Townline, Cargill) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.
- One Council Meeting will be held during the month of July on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
