Council Meeting Highlights - June 23, 2026

• Council received information on various economic development projects and upcoming events.
• The Municipality is supporting the International Plowing Match by waiving septage disposal costs for the event.
• Brockton is applying for the Building Communities Strong Fund grant to support the construction of a new and future replacement of Walkerton water towers.
• The Municipality will be advancing plans for a new Arena in the East Ridge Business Park including applying for grant opportunities to fund this project.

Upcoming Meetings

• One Council Meeting will be held during the month of July on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.
• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
