Council Meeting Highlights - July 14, 2026

• The Municipality will apply to Bruce Power’s Bruce C Regional Municipal Readiness Assessment Fund for studies to support our community’s growth.
• Council received updates on the Municipality’s finances and tax arrears.
• The 2027 Budget and Council Meeting Schedule was approved.
• Information was provided on Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling’s transition to a new Municipal Services Corporation, including the Business Case Study and proposed next steps.

• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
