Council Meeting Highlights - August 25, 2026

• Council received the Engineer’s Report for the Young Municipal Drain, and gave first and second reading to the Provisional By-Law adopting the Engineer’s Report. Affected landowners will also be able to attend a Court of Revision Meeting in the future to discuss drainage assessments.
• The Dog Control By-Law was amended to include additional provisions for Livestock Guardian and Herding Dogs.
• The mower at the Walkerton Cemetery will be repaired.
• Council requested a report on implementing a Pedestrian Priority Area at Scott Street, Walkerton.

• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
