2027 Budget Feedback

The Municipality of Brockton is seeking feedback to assist with preparation of the 2027 Budget. 

As of May 1, 2025, the Province of Ontario expanded Strong Mayor Powers for several municipalities in Ontario, including the Municipality of Brockton. Visit our Strong Mayor Powers webpage to learn more about this authority.

Under the Strong Mayor Powers authority, the Mayor is responsible for preparing and proposing a budget to Council by February 1^st of each year. 

Mayor Peabody is inviting community input to help inform budget preparation through the following methods:

• Service Group/Organizations (Community User Group) Budget Requests
  Service groups/organizations that would like to make a budget request from the Municipality of Brockton can submit a budget request by completing a 2027 Budget Community User Group Request Form by October 2, 2026. 
  
  
• Budget (Engagement) Survey
  Help shape the draft 2027 Budget by letting us know what's important to you! Residents and business owners can complete the online (anonymous) 2027 Budget Survey by October 2, 2026 and your input will be incorporated into the creation of the 2027 Budget.
