General Information and Structure of Summer Camp in Brockton!

Ages 4-5

Brockton's Kinder Camps are filled with excitement for campers ages 4-5! The main location for these camps will be at The Walkerton Community Centre, with local walking trips daily including swimming at Centennial Park, Splash Pad, The Frog Park, The Bruce County Library (Walkerton Branch) and more! Daily activities will include themed crafts, songs and games... Join the summer fun in Brockton!

Drop off anytime after 7:30am, and pick-up anytime before 5:00 pm. 

*Every Friday is Pizza Day! If interested, please select and purchase pizza upon registration.*

Ages 6-12

Brockton's Summer Camps for ages 6-12 include general themed camps as well as some specialty camps (Swim Camp, Sports Camp, Travel Camp and more)! The main location for these camps will be at Centennial Park, however the daily drop-off and pick-up location will be at The Walkerton Community Centre. Children will be walking to and from Centennial Park daily, with the safety care and guidance from our trained Brockton staff! Daily activities will include themed crafts, activities and games... Join the summer fun in Brockton!

Drop off anytime after 7:30am (by 9:00am), and pick-up anytime before 5:00 pm (or after 4:00pm).

    • Safe Arrival and Departure Experience (Pick-up and Drop-off at The Walkerton Community Centre); Absenteeism: If a camper will be absent, it is the responsibility of a parent/guardian to inform the Camp Supervisor by 9:00am (Supervisor contact information will be provided in a pre-camp email the week before); Registration and 2024 Fee's; What to Bring Daily for Camp; Refunds and Cancellations; Camp Policies including Lost and Found, Camper Readiness, Code of Conduct, Photo Consent, Sign in and Out, etc.

Cancellations received more than 14 days before the start date of the program or activity can transfer their registration to any alternative camp or Brockton recreation program, accept an account credit (no expiry), or receive a full refund.

If a cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the start of the program or activity, there will be a 20% Non-Refundable Administration Fee, with the remining 80% refunded as an account credit. 

Cancellations and refund requests should be received in writing via email to recreation@brockton.ca, or by phone during business hours (8:30am - 4:30pm) by calling 519-881-0625 x 2.

Please Note: 

  • Low enrollment in camp or swimming lessons may result in cancellation or general program changes. We reserve the right to cancel or alter camps, lessons and programs if necessary, including unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to avoid these changes.
  • Should 3 or more swimming lesson cancellations occur in one session, a make-up class will be scheduled.
