Press Release - Brockton Appoints Paquette as Building and Planning Manager/Chief Building Official

Brockton, Ontario (December 10, 2025) - The Municipality of Brockton is pleased to announce the appointment of Dominic Paquette as the Building and Planning Manager/Chief Building Official, effective December 10, 2025.

Mr. Paquette has been serving as Acting Chief Building Official and Zoning Administrator for the past four months, demonstrating strong leadership and commitment during this transition period. He brings six years of dedicated experience to the role, having previously served as Building Inspector/Property Standards Officer with the Municipality of Brockton.

Dominic has built strong working relationships with contractors, builders, and community members throughout his time with the Municipality. His knowledge of the local building landscape and his collaborative approach will continue to support Brockton’s development and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality building services.

“We are grateful for Dominic’s continued dedication to Brockton and his steady leadership while serving in the Acting role,” said Mayor Peabody. “We look forward to his ongoing contributions in this new capacity.”

With this appointment, the Municipality will begin recruitment efforts shortly to fill the Building Inspector position.
