Council Meeting Highlights - September 23, 2025

• Brockton is submitting a grant application under the Rural Ontario Development Program in hopes of receiving funding for community infrastructure enhancements in 2026.
• 2026 International Plowing Match information was received, including plans, responsibilities, proposed costs, and supports/equipment required for the event.
• The 2026 Budget Survey results were presented. The input received from residents and business owners will be used in the preparation of the 2026 Budget.
• Council reviewed the Community User Group Financial Requests for the 2026 Budget. Additional information will come forward in October on these requests.

• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
