Council Meeting Highlights - October 14, 2025

• A 2026-2031 Water Works Financial Plan and Wastewater System Financial Plan were adopted.
• Council accepted a Building Permit Fees and Planning Fees Review. A Public Meeting to consider proposed increases to Building Permit Fees will be held on November 25, 2025.
• The Provincial Government’s changes to municipal recycling takes effect January 1, 2026. Council discussed the impact to curbside recycling collection, and opportunities for e-waste and scrap metal recycling to be diverted to Brockton’s landfills.
• Council reviewed updated information on Community User Group Financial Requests for the 2026 Budget.

• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
