Council Meeting Highlights - November 25, 2025

• The Brockton Child Care Centre will be implementing changes to their summer programming in 2026 supporting flexible enrollment options, and expanding access to a broader range of family needs.
• The tender for the Cargill Community Centre roof reconstruction was awarded.
• Proposals were accepted for engineering services to assist infrastructure improvements, and delivery of planning, capital and operational projects over the next 5 years.
• Carl Kuhnke‘s former Councillor seat was declared vacant. Individuals interested in filling the vacant Councillor seat can apply in December and January, with Council voting on the appointment in mid-January.

Upcoming Council Meetings

• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.
• A Special Council Meeting to consider the 2026 Mayor's Budget will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
