Council Meeting Highlights - May 13, 2025

• 2025 Boys’ A/AA OFSAA Hockey Champions, Sacred Heart High School Crusaders, were presented with recognition certificates congratulating the team and coaches for their success at the Provincial Championships.
• LiUNA are constructing a training facility in Walkerton, investing in skilled trades workers. The Municipality will be partnering with LiUNA to enhance our community services through shared resources, practical on-site training, and improved service levels.
• An aging clarifier at Walkerton’s Wastewater Treatment Plant will be repaired this year.
• Council awarded a tender for curbside collection and bagged leaf pickup and will be investigating a new green bin program.

• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
