The Council of the Municipality of Brockton met on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe. Council Meeting Highlights - February 10, 2026

• Baker Tilly presented the 2024 Financial Statements.
• Council supported Sing! Show Chorus’ proposal to perform at the Cargill Community Centre.
• Updates were received on the 2024 Year-End, 2025 Building Permit fee revenue, 2025 Parkland Cash-in-Lieu collections, and 2025 Early Investment in Education and Skills grant allocations.
• The Municipality will provide a financial contribution to Friends of Historic Cargill’s holiday lighting project.
• The Clothing Allowance Policy was updated to include Brockton Child Care Centre staff.

• The next regular Council Meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the Bruce County Council Chambers and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eScribe.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
