Council Meeting Highlights - August 12, 2025

• Settlement area brands for Cargill, Chepstow, and Elmwood were approved.
• The Brockton Child Care Centre will be updating their billing cycle as of January 1, 2026.
• The Brockton Child Care Centre will annually close the Toddler and Preschool programs during the first week of July, beginning in 2026.
• Council approved their 2026 Budget and Council Meeting Schedule.
• Councillor Carl Kuhnke submitted his resignation as Councillor effective November 30, 2025. A Council Vacancy process is proposed for late 2025/early 2026.

Upcoming Committee of Adjustment and Council Meetings

• The Committee of Adjustment will meet again on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.
• The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
