Summer Programs and Camps

We’re thrilled to announce that this summer we’re offering TWO fun-filled summer programs! One is run by our Recreation Department, and the other is led by our Childcare Centre. Giving families more choice, flexibility, and exciting opportunities for their children.

 

Recreation Summer Day Camp

Recreation-based summer camps offered by Brockton’s Recreation Department, for ages 4 - 12. Located at the Walkerton Community Centre and Walkerton District Community School.

  • Includes themed weeks, sports, special visitors, local trips, swimming, and travel opportunities

  • HIGH FIVE® accredited by Parks and Recreation Ontario and led by trained day camp leaders

  • Focus on fun, physical activity, and skill development

Best for: Children looking for an active, social, and adventure-focused summer day camp experience.

Childcare Summer Program

New, and now open to the public. This is a licensed childcare program operated by the Brockton Childcare Centre. It will run out of St. Teresa Elementary School in Walkerton.

  • Activities include outdoor play, crafts, games, and guided learning. Full-day care with consistent daily routines

  • Follows the Child Care and Early Years Act (Ontario)

  • Focus on early childhood development and supervised care

Best for: Families needing reliable, full-day licensed childcare for school-aged children during the summer.
