Brockton Child Care Centre Fees
- Fee payment is based on your child’s schedule. When your child enrolled their space is reserved for them individually.
- The administrative staff asks that payment of fees be given either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Receipts will be available for income tax purposes. Interest will be charged on accounts that are not paid by the end of the month.
- Two (2) weeks written notice is required when you decide to withdraw your child. If this is not given you will be charged for these days.
Fees charged at the Brockton Child Care Centre are as follows (With fee reduction as per the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care, CWELCC) Fees Effective January 1, 2024:

- Toddler rate is charged when a child is 18 months to 2 1/2 years old and not toilet trained. The Toddler rate is charged until a child is toilet trained.
- Preschool rate is charged when a child is 2 1/2 years to 4 years and is toilet trained
- Kindergarten rate is charged when a child is 4 years to 6 years and is toilet trained
- School Age rate is charged when a child is in Grade 1 and up
- Sunscreen fees were implemented May 12, 2021 as per By-Law 2021-070 - Amend 2021 Fees and Charges By-Law. Sunscreen fees are applicable from May 1st to September 30th - ** Medical exemptions are permitted
- As of September 1, 2022 the Brockton Child Care Centre no longer offers half-day programs as per Resolution 22-16-11 passed by Council on June 21, 2022.
The County of Bruce and The County of Grey have implemented a new way to apply for a position on the waiting list. The One List Bruce County is an online child care application system that simplifies the process of finding and applying to child care. You must create an account to register on a waiting list at Brockton Child Care Centre. Once the account is activated, you provide your information and place your name on our waiting list. Once a space comes available you will be contacted.
