Fairs and Festivals
Walkerton Little Royal Fair - Over 150 years old, this traditional fall fair includes exhibits, team penning, horse shows, 4-H competitions, and children's activities.
Holiday Celebrations

Canada Day - The Walkerton Rotary Club and Municipality usually host an annual event to celebrate the holiday at Centennial Park in Walkerton. 

Family Day - Recreation activities are held at the Walkerton Community Centre to celebrate the holiday. 

Santa Claus Parade - The Walkerton Kinsmen Club host an annual Santa Claus Parade the last Saturday of November featuring local businesses and community groups in a parade down Durham Street in Walkerton. The Fire Department also collect donations for the local Food Bank during the parade.

Music
  • Midwestern Ontario Rotary Music Festival - Annual adjudicated music festival, part of the Ontario Music Festivals Association.
  • Music in the Park - Local musicians perform at the Heritage Water Gardens in Walkerton on the last Sunday of June, July and August.
  • Pickin' by the Pond - A country and bluegrass music festival held every July in Cargill.
  • Victoria Jubilee Hall - A beautiful historic venue featuring annual entertainment series, including concerts, plays, and musicals.
Theatre
  • The County Towne Players are a popular and entertaining amateur theatre troupe. Many of their productions are performed at Victoria Jubilee Hall in Walkerton.
