Apply to Serve as a Brockton Councillor
The Municipality currently has a vacancy for one (1) Councillor. Council will appoint a new individual to fill this Councillor seat in January in accordance with our Council Vacancy Replacement Procedure Policy. The appointed individual will serve as Councillor from the date of their appointment (mid-January) until the end of the current Council Term (November 14, 2026).
Applications are open to fill the vacant Brockton Councillor seat until January 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
In mid-January, Council will hold a Special Council Meeting to consider Candidate applications, and appoint one individual to serve as Councillor for the remainder of the 2026 Council Term.
Applications to fill the vacant Brockton Councillor seat open Monday, December 8, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. until January 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. In mid-January, Council will then appoint one individual to serve as Councillor for the remainder of the 2026 Council Term.
