Public Skating

Public Skating is sponsored weekly by the Municipality of Brockton and a number of other generous community organizations, individuals and businesses making it FREE! 

Donations accepted. Box located in Arena Lobby. 

Skating Rules

  • Do not proceed onto the ice until the Olympia is off the ice and the doors are closed
  • Animals, food and drink are prohibited from the ice surface
  • No balls, pucks, sticks on the ice
  • Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants 
  • Skating aid devices are available and permitted for use
  • Children 8 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a guardian (13 years old +)
  • Strollers are permitted - must be clean
  • No horseplay or rough play
Parent & Tot

A quiet skating environment for parents and their budding skaters. 

  • Do not proceed onto the ice until the Olympia is off the ice and the doors are closed
  • Animals, food and drink are prohibited from the ice surface
  • Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants

  • Strollers are permitted - must be clean

Senior Skate

Skate for adults only.

Huff n' Puff

Pick-up hockey league for adults 50+. 

$10 / person

$100 / 10 visit, 11th visit FREE

Rentals 

Auditorium Rental Rates

At the time of booking, all renters must provide a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure the rental. 

Auditorium - per hour (over 20 persons) $55 + HST
Auditorium - per hour (under 20 persons) $36 + HST
Auditorium - all day (including set-up) $315 + HST
SOCAN Tariffs (Music) - with dancing $65 + HST
SOCAN Tariffs (Music) - without dancing $35 + HST

Kitchen & Bar Rates

Kitchen Use $100 + HST
Bar Fee - includes ice, mix and cups $200 + HST
Bartender - per person, per hour* $30 + HST
Security - per guard, per hour* $30 + HST

*Dependent on event type and size

For licensed events (where alcohol is served) renters must ensure their compliance with Brockton's Municipal Alcohol Policy. Renters must provide proof of Public Alcohol Liability Insurance and Special Occasion Permit two weeks prior to the start of the event. For more details about hosting licensed events visit the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario's website.
