Cancellations received more than 14 days before the start date of the program or activity can transfer their registration to any alternative camp or Brockton recreation program, accept an account credit (no expiry), or receive a full refund.

If a cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the start of the program or activity, there will be a 20% Non-Refundable Administration Fee, with the remining 80% refunded as an account credit. 

Cancellations and refund requests should be received in writing via email to recreation@brockton.ca, or by phone during business hours (8:30am - 4:30pm) by calling 519-881-0625 x 2.

Please Note: 

  • We reserve the right to cancel or alter camps, lessons and programs if necessary, including unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to avoid these changes.

Full Camp Details and Descriptions

Regular camp hours are 7:30am - 5:00pm (unless otherwise indicated), with programming from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Pizza day is every Friday; if interested, be sure to purchase online when registering. Almost all camps include swimming every-other day at Centennial Pool, special visitors, themed crafts and activities and so much more! Daily local walking to places such as Centennial Park and the Splash Pad, Tot-Lot Park, The Bruce County Library (Walkerton Branch) and more.

Swimming: Please see "Swim Admission Policy" below. All campers ages 4 - 5 must wear a lifejacket and follow leader-to-swimmer rations. Campers ages 6 - 12 can attempt a swim test and must also follow ratio safety standards. Swimming is always optional!

6 - 12 Explore Science Week CC $220 Explore Science Week invites campers to embark on a thrilling journey of discovery to kick off the summer with hands-on, science-focused fun! Guided by enthusiastic, science-loving camp leaders, campers will dive into interactive experiments, exciting challenges, and mind-expanding activities that spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning—making this an unforgettable week of exploration, problem-solving, and discovery!

4 - 5 Fun in the Sun! WDCS $220 Enjoy this summer with Fun in the Sun Week, where campers participate in a joyful mix of swimming, outdoor games, sunshine-filled play, and colorful summer crafts, all designed to celebrate the start of summer with friends, laughter, and unforgettable memories!
6 - 12 Sports Camp WDCS $220 Sports Week offers campers an opportunity to play a variety of sports such as basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, and more, combining skill-building with fun team-building games to encourage cooperation and sportsmanship. Activities will take place both indoors at the WDCS gymnasium and outdoors within, providing a dynamic environment for active play, with the added excitement of building friendships through sport! The perfect week for any active sport lover.
6 - 12 Swim Camp CC $255 Swim Camp is the perfect way for campers to dive into all the fun of summer camp while completing an entire swimming level in just one week through daily, focused swim lessons. Outside the pool, campers will enjoy a variety of classic camp activities that keep the excitement going all day long, blending skill-building with play, friendship, and summer adventure!

6 - 12 Artisan Creators WDCS $220 Artisan Creators Week gives campers a hands-on opportunity to explore their creativity through a variety of artistic activities, including painting, pottery, crafts, and unique take-home creations. This week is all about expressing imagination, experimenting with new artsy skills, adding vibrant pops of color, and building confidence in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment!
6 - 12 Travel Camp CC $220 + $100 Travel Camp is your passport to summer adventure! Campers will enjoy two thrilling day trips—to Bingemans and the Blue Mountains—while the other days are packed with classic summer camp activities, creating the perfect mix of adventure, play, and friendship. Please note: an additional $100 fee covers entry and transportation costs.

6 - 12 Swim Camp WDCS $255 Swim Camp is the perfect way for campers to dive into all the fun of summer camp while completing an entire swimming level in just one week through daily, focused swim lessons. Outside the pool, campers will enjoy a variety of classic camp activities that keep the excitement going all day long, blending skill-building with play, friendship, and summer adventure!

6 - 12 Tennis & Basketball Camp WDCS $220 Welcome all "Court Crushers; this is the ultimate week for young athletes to practice tennis and basketball daily, master fun tricks, and learn the art of teamwork under the guidance of enthusiastic daycamp leaders. Perfect for all skill levels, this camp gives campers the chance to improve their game, stay active, and have a blast while exploring two exciting sports!

6 - 12 CAMP SPARK WDCS

If you love singing, dancing, performing and being active, this is the perfect camp for you! Each day from 8:30am - 4:00pm, you will hone your performance skills through exciting activities including: Dance and vocal training, Choreography, Creation and Development, Team building activities, Act it out, Group games, Prop Making, Quick Change games and much more. This week-long day camp for kids culminates in a showcase featuring three musical theatre numbers learned throughout the week!

6 - 12 Swim Camp CC $255 Swim Camp is the perfect way for campers to dive into all the fun of summer camp while completing an entire swimming level in just one week through daily, focused swim lessons. 6 - 12 Swim Camp WDCS $255 Swim Camp is the perfect way for campers to dive into all the fun of summer camp while completing an entire swimming level in just one week through daily, focused swim lessons. Outside the pool, campers will enjoy a variety of classic camp activities that keep the excitement going all day long, blending skill-building with play, friendship, and summer adventure!
6 - 12 Outdoor Adventurers Travel Camp CC $300 Adventure Travel Camp, with daily trips to the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre in Wiarton! This exciting outdoor camp gives children the opportunity to learn new skills, explore new places, and make new friends. Campers will participate in activities such as: Hikes, Nature Study, Introduction to Canoeing, Outdoor Games, Sports and many more!

6 - 12 End-of-Summer Skating Camp! WDCS $220 Summer Skating Camp is the ultimate end-of-summer celebration! Campers hit the ice every day at the arena for relaxed, unstructured skating, ice games, and playful challenges that keep things fun and pressure-free—no experience required. When skates come off, the summer fun keeps rolling with classic day-camp favorites like games, outdoor play, and group activities with friends. It’s the perfect mix of cool ice time and warm summer vibes, all wrapped into one final week that sends summer out with a big, joyful bang.

Do you love to swim and interact with children of all ages? Flexible opportunities are  available, all summer long. This program is aimed at individuals ages 13+ who may be interested in becoming a future Summer Camp Leader!
