Recreation Master Services and Facilities Plan |
The Municipality of Brockton updated its Recreation Master Plan from December 2022 to March 2023. On March 7, 2023 the Council of the Municipality of Brockton adopted the final Recreation Master Services and Facilities Plan following extensive consultation with the community. View our Recreation Master Plan project on our community engagement website, Build Your Brockton for a history of the project. The Recreation Master Services and Facilities Plan is an update to the Municipality of Brockton’s 2011 Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan. It aligns with, and builds on, the Municipality of Brockton’s current corporate Strategic Action Plan (2021- 2025). The purpose of the Plan is to guide provision of recreation services, programs, open spaces (parks, trails and water accesses) and facilities for the ten-year period of 2023 to 2033, and allow for greater cost savings, efficiencies and future opportunities. For all intents and purposes, this Plan is considered a parks plan for Brockton.
