Confirm You are on the Voters List

Register to Vote is a Province-wide online tool that allows voters to register to vote in the Municipal Election. Visit www.RegisterToVoteON.ca to update your information or add yourself to the Voters List by August 12, 2026. You can also email info@registertovoteon.ca or call 1-866-242-3025.

If you have recently moved to the Municipality of Brockton, live in a newer subdivision, are a tenant, or have turned 18 since the last Municipal Election, you may need to add your name to the Voters List. You will be required to provide proof of identity and residence.

School Support

Property owners in Ontario are required to support a school board, even if they do not have children, or their children are not currently attending school. In the case of a residential property occupied by tenants, the tenants can direct the school support for that property.

It is your responsibility to ensure your school support information is correct on your tax bill and on the voters' list.

To ensure your correct school support designation is provided to Elections Ontario, it should be reviewed and updated before June 1, 2026, to vote for the applicable School Board Trustee. The default school board support is English-Public unless you update your designation.

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is legislatively required to collect school support information and provide it in the assessment roll to every Municipality and school board. Property owners, occupants, and tenants can update their school support designation online through MPAC.

View our Adjustment Requests webpage to learn more about how to change your school support for both your Property Taxes and in advance of the Election.
