Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy

The Municipality of Brockton endeavours to provide as much information as possible to the public without the necessity of submitting a formal Freedom of Information Request.

The Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act provides individuals with a right of access to certain records under the custody and control of the Municipality. The Act also provides that certain costs can be charged for access to information, for example photocopy costs. An application for a Freedom of Information request must be accompanied with payment in the amount of $5.00.
