Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Brockton's Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is Sonya Watson.

The CAO is Council's principal advisor on matters of policy. The CAO is responsible to Council for the efficient administration of all Municipal activities, while the Department Heads are responsible to the CAO for the efficient operation of their respective departments.

The CAO also co-ordinates administrative interaction with agencies such as the Police Services Board, the County of Bruce, the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority and the Saugeen Regional Transit Corporation.

The Municipality's Strategic Action Plan is also under the direction of the CAO.
