The Brockton Police Services Board is a Local Board/Liaison Committee of Council and consists of five members, one citizen appointed by Council, two citizens appointed by the Province and two members of Council, plus a Board Secretary.
The 2023 Brockton Police Services Board members which have been appointed by the current Brockton Committee Appointments By-Law are:
- Brockton Police Services Board Chair and Municipal Representative, Brian Read
- Councillor, B. Carl Kuhnke
- Councillor and Vice Chair, Tim Elphick
- Brockton Police Services Board Secretary, Sarah Johnson, Deputy Clerk
The Board does not currently have any Provincial Appointees in 2023.

The Board is established pursuant to the Police Services Act, R.S.O, 1990, c. P.15. The Board's mandate under the Police Services Act is to be responsible for the provision of adequate and effective police services in the municipality, meeting the requirements of the citizens and the guidelines under the Police Services Act. The Board networks with and supports officers of the South Bruce O.P.P. Detachment.
On March 9, 2021 the Council of the Municipality of Brockton enacted By-Law 2021-026 - Brockton Police Services Board Governance By-Law which was formally enacted by the Board on March 18, 2021, which ultimately governs the proceedings of the Brockton Police Services Board, member conduct, and the calling of meetings. The By-Law also includes two appendices, Appendix A: Members Code of Conduct, as per O. Reg. 421/97 under the Police Services Act and Appendix B: Municipality of Brockton Police Services Board Reporting Protocol, containing details as to the information that would be provided to Brockton Council.

The Board is currently working on the following projects:
- Assisting in the implementation of the Bruce Grey Community Safety and Well-Being Plan
- Implementing an anti-impaired driving campaign with local businesses
- Promoting O.P.P. Campaigns such as "Lock It or Lose It" Vehicle Theft, Fraud Prevention, R.I.D.E. Program, etc.
- Promoting community safety in the Municipality
- Addressing speeding concerns in the Municipality
