On January 31, 2023 the Council of the Municipality of Brockton declared the property known as 934 Concession 10 Brant Road Allowance and legally described as part of RDAL BTN LT 10 AND LT 11 CON 12 BRANT LYING S OF SAUGEEN RIVER; RDAL BTN LT 10 AND LT 11 CON 11 BRANT CLOSED BY R164625; BROCKTON bearing parcel identifier number 33190-0144 surplus to the needs of the Municipality. The Municipality were accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the property. Sealed bids were to be addressed to Fiona Hamilton, Director of Legislative and Legal Services (Clerk) at 100 Scott St, P.O. Box 68, Walkerton, ON N0G 2V0 by March 1, 2023 at Noon. Council will consider proposals to purchase the property at the March 7, 2023 7:00 p.m. Council Meeting. The meeting will be held in hybrid format in-person at the Bruce County Council Chambers 30 Park St, Walkerton and broadcast electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brocton’s Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.
