The Municipality of Brockton is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the owner of a dog that was involved in a biting incident in the Municipality of Brockton on March 6, 2024. At about 1:30 p.m. a person was bitten by a dog while walking down Durham St W in the town of Walkerton.
The victim described the dog as a smaller black German Shepherd mix. It was wearing a blue harness and on a leash at the time of the incident. The dog was being walked by a woman in her mid-40s, had red/brown hair and wearing a black jacket.
The Municipality needs to confirm the dog is not infectious with the rabies virus. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the Municipality of Brockton at 519-881-2223 ext. 141.
