Council Meeting Highlights - May 23, 2023

  • Public feedback will be solicited on the proposal to install a school crossing at Robinson and South Streets, Walkerton.
  • Council approved entering into an agreement with PepsiCo for the Walkerton and Cargill Community Centre refrigeration systems and vending machines.
  • Council are pursuing additional information on replacing the scoreboard at the Walkerton Community Centre.
  • The June 6th and June 20th Council Meeting locations were changed. June 6th will occur at the Bruce County Council Chambers and June 20th will occur at the Cargill Community Centre.

Upcoming Council Meetings

The next Council Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in a hybrid meeting format in-person at the Bruce County Council Chambers, electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

The June 20, 2023 Council Meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. at the Cargill Community Centre (999 Greenock-Brant Townline, Cargill). The meeting will be held in a hybrid format in-person at the Cargill Community Centre, electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
