Council Meeting Highlights - June 18, 2024
- James Lang resigned as Deputy Mayor leaving a vacant seat on Council. Council further decided to appoint the new Deputy Mayor from an existing member of Council which will occur at a future meeting.
- Council adopted a Community Risk Assessment for the Municipality of Brockton.
- The EV Charging Station at the Elmwood Community Centre may be relocated due to the minimal use and requirements to move from its current location because of safety reasons.
- Council approved the 2025 Council Meeting Schedule apart from the 2025 Budget Meeting dates.
Upcoming Council Meeting
The July 9, 2024 Council Meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton). The meeting will be held in a hybrid format in-person at the Bruce County Council Chambers and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
