Condolences for Paulette Peirol, Community Development Coordinator

The Municipality of Brockton is saddened to announce the passing of Paulette Peirol on February 5, 2024. Paulette was a valued employee with the Municipality of Brockton for over five years. In her role as the Community Development Coordinator, Paulette supported community and business development activities through coordination of business supports and organizing yearly events including Summer Fest, the Hometown Christmas Market, Job Fair and welcoming community initiatives. Paulette was instrumental in building a better Brockton through various marketing and communication initiatives to promote the unique business or investment opportunities available here. Paulette was active in promoting and initiating land sales in the East Ridge Business Park and in the launch of the Walkerton Clean Water Legacy Award for post-secondary students.

Paulette will be sorely missed by her colleagues at the Municipality of Brockton, and we offer our deepest sympathy to Paulette’s family and friends.

In honour of Paulette’s dedication as an employee for the Municipality of Brockton the Municipal flag will be lowered to half mast on Thursday, February 8^th, 2024 and will be raised following the service. Service details can be found at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home Ltd, Owen Sound.
