The Walkerton Branch Library reopened to the public as of August 17, 2020; however COVID-19 precautions are in place.

Adjusted Hours During COVID-19 Pandemic:

  • Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

If you wish to rent a room, gallery or hall, please visit the Library Room Rentals page, or contact Marilyn Al at the Municipal Office for further details.

*Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Walkerton Library is not accepting rentals at this time.

West Grey Public Library

Elmwood Resource Centre

As of April 21, 2015, the Elmwood Branch closed. The Elmwood Library has relocated to the basement of the St. John's Lutheran Church, and is now called the Elmwood Resource Centre.

Location: 12 Dirstein St. South, Elmwood

Hours of Operation:

  • Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
