2023 Summer Camp Activities
| Fun Food Fridays & Pizza Day |
|
Campers will participate in food related activities every Friday! Edible treats can be eaten at camp or taken home. Additionally, campers will have the option to participate in Pizza Day on Fridays. Details to follow! |
| Swimming |
|
Campers will swim weekly at Centennial Park Pool! Check out our calendar for swim dates. - Swim Dates subject to change. Please send your camper to camp with their bathing suit and towel daily. *Swim Camp swims daily. |
| Walkerton Public Library Visits |
|
Every Friday camp will visit the Walkerton Public Library to participate in the TD Summer Reading Club. Campers are encouraged to bring their library cards on Fridays to check-out books. Don't have a library card? No problem! Forms are available for campers to complete prior to our visits. |

| Week One: Extreme Adventures |

Tuesday July 4 - Friday July 7 (No Camp July 3) Join us for a week of EXTREMES!!! From testing your orienteering skills, rope course abilities to testing your brain this week will provide your camper with the extremists of the EXTREMES! Ages 6-12 Weekly Trip: Camp Kintail Daily Rate: $38.55 / day Trip Day: $38.55 + $60 (Trip and transportation fees)

| Week Two: Amazing Animals |
|
Monday July 10 - Friday July 14 E-I-O, E-I-O, E-I-O! Campers will become animal experts after this week of camp! Between cow and Zoo to You visits and a special visit to Story Book Park to see their animals, this is a great week for animal lovers! Ages 6-12 Weekly Trip: Story Book Park Daily Rate: $38.55 / day Trip Day: $38.55 + $60 (Trip and transportation fees)

| Week Three: Swim Camp |

Monday July 17 - Friday July 21 Join our camp and aquatic staff for a week a Centennial Pool! Swimmers participate in a variety of activities including a full session of swimming lessons, swimming water games, offsite activities and SO MUCH MORE! Passing is not guaranteed. Swimmers unable to pass the facility swim test, may be required to wear lifejackets. Ages 6-12 Weekly Rate: $192.75

| Week Four: Explore Nature |
|
Monday July 24 - Friday July 28 Explore Nature with our Summer Camp Leaders! Campers will participate in a number of outdoor activities this week including; a visit from Saugeen Conservation, roasting marshmellows at Lobies Park, dressing like a tacky tourist and special trip to the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre. Ages 6-12 Weekly Trip: Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre Daily Rate: $38.55 Trip Rate: $38.55 + $60 (Trip and transportation fees)

| Week Five: When I Grow Up |

Monday July 31 - August 4 This week has campers spending a variety of time with professionals in and around our community including; Hammond Power Solutions, first responders and municipal government officials. Campers will also visit the Saugeen Valley Safety Village and Sulphur Springs Conservation Area. Ages 6-12 Weekly Trip: Saugeen Valley Children's Safety Village Daily Rate: $38.55 Trip Rate: $38.55 + $60 (Trip and transportation fees)

| Week Six: Movies, Music & Books |

Tuesday August 8 - Friday August 11 (No Camp August 7) We're celebrating all of our favourite movies, music and books with trips to Victoria Jubliee Hall to work join the County Towne Players on the stage, trip to Galaxy Cinemas to catch and flick and wrapping up the week with Willy Wonka! Ages 6-12 Weekly Trip: Galaxy Cinemas & The Bowling Alley - Movie: TBD Daily Rate: $38.55 Trip Rate: $38.55 + $60 (Trip and transportation fees)

| Week Seven: Mad Science |

Monday August 14 - Friday August 18 Get your lab coat and goggles! This week includes special visits from STEMOTICS and the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) with an extra special visit from Science North!
