The Brockton Parks and Recreation Department manages our many facilities and community centres throughout Cargill, Elmwood, and Walkerton, maintains multiple parks and pavilions, and various recreation and leisure programs throughout the year.

Recreation Master Plan |
The Municipality of Brockton is currently beginning the process of updating the current Recreation Master Plan. The Municipality created a Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan in 2011, which incorporated the previous "Fun, Fit Brockton" 2009 plan, the 1990 Town of Walkerton's five-year recreation development plan, and the 2010 Brockton Municipal Complex Study from 2010. The focus of the 2011 Master Plan was establishing a framework for decision making, investments and staffing for all recreation and leisure service components from 2011 through 2031.
