In accordance with Section 8 of the Municipality of Brockton’s Consolidated Traffic and Parking By-Law 2020-052, no person shall park on any highway between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. inclusive during the months of November, December, January, February, March and April.

Leaf Collection - November 15, 2021

Municipal staff are conducting a final leaf collection on Monday, November 15, 2021 for Walkerton, Lake Rosalind and Marl Lake residents. Leaves must be placed in biodegradable kraft paper waste bags (plastic bags will not be accepted) and placed at curbside by 7:00 a.m. for collection. Notice of Temporary Bridge Closure

Temporary Bridge Closure: DS Weis Memorial Bridge

The D.S. Weis Memorial Bridge located on Concession 8 in Cargill is temporarily closed from October 25 until November 4, 2021 to finalize bridge rehabilitation. A detour along Concession Road 10 is available during the temporary closure. 

Access is maintained to all private properties located within the project limits, and to the Saugeen River Access (although parking capacity is reduced).

On October 26th, 2021 the Council of the Municipality of Brockton declared two parcels of land within the East Ridge Business Park as surplus to the needs of the Municipality. These surplus lands are intended for Residential use with appropriate planning approvals required.  The lands indicated are available for an asking price of $180,000 per acre.
