The Council of the Municipality of Brockton considered both the Tax Supported Operating Budget, and the Non-Tax Supported Operating Budget at their Special Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. As a result, they passed a resolution agreeing to cancel the Special Council Meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

MPP Thompson Announces Funding for Additional Hospice Beds in Southern Grey-Bruce
$1.5 million investment will support the construction of six residential hospice beds in the Municipality of Brockton

In order to accommodate Council members attending delegation meetings with Provincial Ministries at the R.O.M.A. Conference, the Tuesday, January 23, 2024 7:00 p.m. Municipality of Brockton Council Meeting will occur virtually/electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.
The Bruce County Council Chambers will no longer be used for the January 23, 2024 Council Meeting as it will occur virtually/electronically.
