The Municipality of Brockton is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the owner of a dog that was involved in a biting incident in the Municipality of Brockton on March 6, 2024. At about 1:30 p.m. a person was bitten by a dog while walking down Durham St W in the town of Walkerton.

The victim described the dog as a smaller black German Shepherd mix. It was wearing a blue harness and on a leash at the time of the incident. The dog was being walked by a woman in her mid-40s, had red/brown...

Half Load Restriction

The Municipality of Brockton introduced a Half Load Restriction for Municipal Roads, authorized by By-Law 2024-010 to extend or shorten the usual half load/reduced load period. The Municipality may enforce this By-Law at any time depending on the road and weather conditions.

Half Load restrictions are in effect for 10 Sideroad from Durham Street West to Concession 2 North Durham Road.
