Our Finance Department is responsible for:

  • monitoring and implementing sound financial policies that support the Municipality
  • ensuring the financial integrity of the Municipality
  • fulfilling of all statutory and credible requirements
  • centralizing the Accounts Payables and Receivables
  • ensure the Municipality has a current Procurement Police
  • preparing and monitoring the Municipal Budgets, Operating and Capital
  • ensuring all the User Fees and Charges are updated as per current budgets
  • preparing and filing of all the Municipal Financial Statements and Municipal Performance Measurement Programs to the public and ministries
  • reviewing and monitoring the Municipal Asset Management Plan
  • processing all Property Taxes for the Municipality, County and School Boards as required
