Electronic EWaste

Done with your old TV or cell phone? Why not donate it or pass it on to someone who could use it.

Printer or monitor not working? If you can't fix it, recycle it!

In 2007 Brockton banned e-waste from our landfills under By-law 2007-55. Reusing and recycling electronics instead of sending them to the landfill keeps contaminants out of our environment and saves resources.

It takes only 14 tonnes of recycled e-waste to produce 1 tonne of copper, compared to 80,000 tonnes of raw material from underground mining.
