Celebration Certificates

If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate a special life event like a milestone birthday or anniversary, the Mayor will happily sign Special Celebration Certificates on request.

Please complete the Special Celebration Certificate Request Form and email, mail, fax, or drop it off to the Municipal office two weeks prior to the celebration. This will allow time for staff to prepare the certificate and arrange for the Mayor to sign it.

2018 Senior of the Year Award

Each year the Minister of Seniors Affairs gives each municipality in Ontario the opportunity to honour one outstanding local senior; who, after the age of 65, has enriched the social, cultural, or civic life of his or her community. The award pays tribute to this accomplishment, while also showing how seniors are making a difference in the lives of those around them.

Council seeks the community’s input to gather names to consider in choosing one outstanding local senior to honour in Brockton.

For more information about eligibility, and to forward your nomination, and letter outlining the nominee’s contributions to the community please contact Julie Farrell, Human Resources Generalist at or 519-881-2223 Ext 135 by Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12:00 Noon.

Council will consider the nominees at its April 23, 2018 Meeting.
