Dave_web7938As we move into the New Year, I would like to offer some thoughts on future goals, projects, and direction for Brockton.
In December Council approved the 2018 Budget which prioritizes a number of infrastructure improvements.
Located on the Brant-Elderslie Road, the McCurdy Bridge replacement will be a major project for Brockton in co-operation with the County of Bruce and Arran-Elderslie. This is a County bridge but since it is on the border between Brockton and Arran-Elderslie,...

Walkerton Water Tower Walkerton, Ontario (January 12, 2018) – The Walkerton south water tower, located at Wallace Street, will undergo interior and exterior refurbishing and repainting in 2018.
At their January 8, 2018 meeting, Brockton Council approved the recommendation from the Community Improvement Committee (CIC) to use the Spruce the Bruce Walkerton Toolkit Logo as the design to be repainted on the water tower. Walkerton Pavilion - CIC January 2018 (2) Walkerton, Ontario (January 11, 2018) - The Community Improvement Committee (CIC) is pleased to announce the pavilion project in the downtown area of Walkerton is partially completed. The picnic shelter is located north west of the Saugeen River off Durham Street.
This is the only public greenspace in downtown Walkerton. The project is jointly funded by the Municipality of Brockton, Spruce the Bruce, the Walkerton Homecoming Committee and the Nuclear Waste Management Organization...
